Jason Haus is CEO of Dem-Con Companies, a fully integrated solid waste handling and recycling company founded in 1985. Dem-Con operates facilities in Minnesota that include three landfills, a construction and demolition (C&D) processing facility, a single stream material recovery facility, multiple municipal solid waste transfer stations, a shingle recycling facility and three scrap yards. The company serves the Twin Cities and nearly all areas of outstate Minnesota.

Dem-Con also operates a trucking division that services the C&D and industrial waste markets. Jason has been involved in developing end markets for a variety of materials that were previously landfilled and has served on multiple Environmental Protection Agency task forces at the national level to advance C&D materials recovery. He is currently an executive committee member of the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association, serves on the board of governance for the Institute for Certification of Sustainable Recyclers and is a past environmental committee chair for the National Demolition Association.
