John Thomas has worked in the transportation, construction and waste industries since the early 1990s. He is a board member and active participant in several state and national associations, including the Construction and Demolition Association of Oklahoma, Construction & Demolition Recycling Association, Builders Council of New Jersey and Recycling Council of Indiana, which represent the construction, materials and recycling industries.

John is president of The Mount Group’s mining, materials and solid waste divisions, which include sand and stone quarries, recycling centers, transportation services and a roll-off division. Through his understanding of the waste, recycling, construction materials and transportation industries, he has been able to create a blueprint for successful business development, growth and mergers and acquisitions opportunities throughout the course of his career.

Outside of work, John volunteers in public service roles, including president of the Folsom School Board, a board member of the Hammonton School District, a planning and zoning board member, a committee member for a county environmental group and a volunteer with The Mount Charitable Foundation.
